Four virtuoso percussionists, four times marimba
Energetic, versatile, innovative. This is how the TrioColores, consisting of Matthias Kessler, Luca Staffelbach and Fabian Ziegler, presents itself. The young, award-winning musicians from Switzerland and Austria are united by a long-standing, tireless passion for percussion and an endless joy in making music. Edzard Locher, 1st percussionist of the Hessian State Orchestra Wiesbaden, completes the marimba quartet. In the concert "Marimba at its best", they play repertoire classics and hits for percussion as well as arrangements of classical music for marimba quartet and percussion. These are the musicians' special trademark and demonstrate the virtuosity and beauty of sound of their instruments.
