Marina Ruiz Matta presents a repertoire of original music and her own versions of Latin American music for piano solo and piano and voice. Her special style, which combines improvisation and elements of Latin American music and universal classical music, gives the artist a reference position within popular music.

Marina Ruiz Matta is a pianist, composer and arranger from Buenos Aires. She has a degree in piano teaching with a specialization in tango, a postgraduate degree in Dalcroze rhythmics at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes, is the pianist of the Orquesta Nacional de música Argentina Juan de Dios Filiberto and teaches rhythmics at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes, piano at the Conservatorio Nacional de música Manuel de Falla and at the Escuela de música popular de Avellaneda, a pioneering school with national and higher qualifications for popular music, also within the framework of a competition.

Marina has released four albums of her own music, with arrangements for different musical formations, she has collaborated as arranger and musical director on about 10 other albums and as pianist on several dozen records. She has written works for symphony orchestra and premiered them with the Orquesta Nacional de Música Argentina Juan de Dios Filiberto.

She has performed in the most important theaters in Argentina, such as the Kirchner Cultural Center, and has toured Brazil, Canada and Europe.
