Mariola Brillowska: Erde, Mond und das Universum – Fabularismus Lecture Performance

Mariola Brillowska, visual and media artist, performer, author, film and radio play director, will present her improvised radio plays, which she also uses as the basis for her films. The lecture performance will focus on her current short radio play series "Radio Tele Funke" and "PISS - Polish International Space Station". In "Radio Tele Funke", the married couple Mrs. and Mr. Funke flee from Earth to the moon because the law is on their trail due to a wrongly programmed robot. The recently built "PISS" on the Schneekoppe is run by the former singer and Voice In Space Award winner Lola Brzozadrzewska and offers flights to the moon. The work of German-Polish artist Mariola Brillowska encompasses a variety of media, including painting, video, installation, performance, humoristically dealing with social, cultural and political issues. Her radio plays are broadcast by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ARD.
