Songs that touch the soul, heart and mind. Rousing rock'n'roll, emotional soul, atmospheric Americana sounds: this is the music of Markus Rill & The Troublemakers. Wherever the songwriter and his band perform, audiences rave about their captivating performance, versatility and authenticity.

In the fall of 2024, Rill followed up with the predominantly acoustic duo album "SNAPSHOTS" - with mature lyrics and captivating music. The release of a new Troublemakers album with a revamped, enthusiastic band is scheduled for 2025.

Rill lived in Austin, Texas, where he studied his musical craft. In the quarter of a century since his debut album, he has played in small bars, large clubs and on huge open-air stages. Solo, with duo partners, with a band. Rill has recorded albums in Nashville, Tennessee, won international songwriter awards and German country music prizes. He has performed on stage with legends such as Townes van Zandt, Rosanne Cash, Southside Johnny, Jason Isbell and many others - in the USA, Germany, Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
