With his touching voice, sharp political perspective and poetic songwriting, Martin Kerr is currently one of the most talked-about folk artists in the world. As part of his European activities, the Canadian singer-songwriter is coming to Germany for the first time for two club shows: on November 30, 2025 in Berlin (Frannz Club) and on December 1, 2025 in Hamburg (Uebel & Gefährlich).

Kerr is celebrated as a "folk troubadour for the post-factual age" - his songs combine personal stories with socially critical commentary and strike a chord with a new generation. Overnight, he reached over 60 million people worldwide on social media with viral reinterpretations such as God Rest Ye Merry Billionaires, Away In Bomb Shelters or What's Up America? - with trenchant lyrics that have become anthems for justice and democracy.

On stage, Kerr impresses with his warmth, wit and charismatic closeness to the audience. His concerts are like emotional conversations between singer-songwriter and listener - sometimes quiet, sometimes stirring, always sincere.
