Venezuelan sound art meets jazz
Original. Rhythmic. Surprising.
An evening beyond conventions: Asi Pelao and Masurka Concerts invite you on a musical journey in which traditional Venezuelan soundscapes meet the creative freedom of jazz. In an intimate, experimental setting, a dialog unfolds between complex rhythms, improvisational joy of playing and sonic curiosity.
The pulsating grooves of Venezuelan Música Llanera, Joropo or Afro-Venezuelan percussion merge with the open structures of jazz to create something radically new - sometimes rousing and wild, sometimes fragile and poetic.
In the spirit of the mazurka concerts, the focus is not on genre pigeonholing, but on atmosphere, spontaneity and musical depth. A concert that feels more like a musical ritual - flexible, intimate, open to surprises.
