Mary Middlefield confronts the raw and often uncomfortable truths of life with her rocking indie-pop songs and finds a kind of catharsis in creativity. A classically trained violinist since the age of five, the Swiss-based musician pushes the boundaries of genre as she explores the full spectrum of emotional experience. With dramatic tendencies, string-heavy instrumentals and strikingly open lyricism, Middlefield crafts her vision with effortless precision.

From her 2023 debut album 'Thank You Alexander' to her critically acclaimed sophomore effort 'Poetry (for the scorned and lonely)', Middlefield has received rave reviews from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 amongst others. With further appearances at Glastonbury Festival, the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, Montreux Jazz Festival and supporting The Beaches, Middlefield is making impressive progress ahead of her third project.
