Matcha x Pottery Workshop

In the organizer's words:

MATCHA

Together with Juliet from @ikigai.teabar we invite you to a special day in our studio. The event is for anyone who wants to learn more about matcha and be creative at the same time.

With her great expertise, Juliet will lovingly introduce us to the world of matcha.

• How is it made?
• General information and exchange
• How it is traditionally mixed

After her explanation, Juliet shows us how to mix matcha in the traditional way and then it's your turn. Everyone mixes their own matcha together and then we taste it together to discuss the different notes. We will taste two different varieties from different regions.

POTTERY

Afterwards we dive into pottery: Here you can be creative in community and realize your ideas. Juna from @atelier.schwan will show you how to create your feel-good pieces using hand-building pottery techniques. For example: matcha bowl, chasen holder, matcha cup.
