From August 4 to 23, 2025, the Allee-Center Leipzig will become the stage for a special form of science communication: the interactive exhibition "MatheMagie" invites young and old explorers to experience mathematics up close and playfully - without pen and paper.
Everyday and unusual mathematical phenomena become tangible at six themed islands with a total of 42 hands-on stations: From probabilities and geometry to number puzzles - mathematics becomes exciting, understandable and interactive here. Visitors of all ages can expect numerous "aha" experiences that will whet their appetite for logical thinking.
"MatheMagie is a wonderful way to teach mathematics in a lively, entertaining way," says Toni Pérez Morell, Center Manager of the Allee-Center Leipzig. "We are delighted to be able to offer our guests, young and old, an exhibition that is not only fun but also educational - and is accessible to everyone free of charge."
The exhibition was developed in collaboration with the Mathematikum Gießen and EuroScience GmbH and is sponsored by Stiftung Rechnen.
