Mathilde goes Jazz

In the organizer's words:

Dear jazz fans,

With one crying and one laughing eye

we are leaving the Mathilde Bar after six years and heading for new shores.

At the farewell

on 24.06.2025 at 8 pm in the Mathilde Bar in Ottensen

we will be accompanied by the fantastic Rosa Morena Russa and her band.

The unique sounds of Brazilian jazz will be played by a first-class line-up.

Rosa Morena Russa (real name Kateryna Ostrovska) - vocals, who has been commuting between Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo for almost eight years and has released six albums (four of which were mostly produced in Brazil), will now be performing with her top-class Hamburg crew:

Dan Gottshall - pousane, Jonas Oppermann - piano, Axel Burkhardt - bass, Rafa Müller - drums

They will be playing the gems of Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento and João Bosco as well as numerous original compositions by the artist.
