In the organizer's words:

Nora Greco should actually have been born a man. Because on the Italian island of Katria, the office of Raìs - the leader of the traditional tuna fishery - has been passed down to the male heir from the Lombardo family for centuries. Now, for the first time, a woman has to take on this task. Nora - just nineteen years old - faces up to the island's high expectations of her. She is faced with the decision of what sacrifices she wants to make in order to preserve the island's traditional community or whether the only possible path is a radical new beginning.
The nine-member ensemble brings the world premiere of Germana Fabiano's novel of the same name to the stage and attempts to explore the fine line between individual freedom and the security of the community. Following the performances, the audience is invited to expert discussions with selected guests.
