Max Andrzejewski: "SatisfactionAction" (world premiere)

"SatisfactionAction" is a spatial installation and music performance in which Max Andrzejewski creates trance-like communal moments in the Kreuzkirche. Inspired by the YouTube video genre "Oddly Satisfying", a choir, visual film art, dance and an instrumental ensemble transport all participants into states of satisfaction - a brief counterbalance to reality with its permanent sense of crisis. Percussionist and composer Andrzejewski writes choral music that combines contemporary classical music with minimal music. Conversations with the singers of the Kreuzkirchen chamber choir Vox Bona about their fulfillment in making music flow into the composition. With projections on stretched screens, live camera images, spatial choreography and light, the performance transports us to another level of consciousness.
