He is one of the most amazing personalities on the international music scene - the pianist, organist and composer Kit Armstrong. Born in Los Angeles in 1992, he turned out to be a "child prodigy" at an early age. At a young age, he studied music, physics, mathematics, biology and finally piano at various universities, including with Alfred Brendel. At the traditional summer music concert at Wartburg Castle, he will perform works by Tallis, Byrd, Liszt and Chopin, among others. Armstrong groups these thematically around the topics of "Courtly Life and Love" and "War and Intolerance", also making reference to the former lady of the castle and wife of the Thuringian Landgrave, St. Elisabeth.
