Meet a scientist X Lilo

In the organizer's words:

"Meet a Scientist" meets the Lilo!

On July 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lilo will become a research laboratory and invites children from the age of 4 and, of course, curious adults to explore science interactively at entdecken👩🏻‍🔬.

What do tiny bacteria have to do with rare earth metals? And why might they be the solution for our modern future?
Researchers from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf's Department of Bioinorganic Chemistry use illustrative research material to provide understandable insights into their current research and offer space for lots of questions!

And the best part? For our younger guests, there are safe chemistry experiments to take part in, where they can playfully research, mix and marvel!
The aim of Meet a Scientist is to make science tangible and lively for everyone who enjoys discovery, without any prior knowledge.
