Every culture and every religion has its own rituals, and daily meals are an important part of this.

Sometimes candles are lit, sometimes incense sticks are burning or tea is steaming. In some countries there is a hearty roast, in others a delicious paella or chickpea compote. While the Nordic countries often eat hearty and savory food, the southern European countries usually prefer something sweeter. But one thing is the same everywhere: food brings people together.

So we bring together old and new Brunswickers, Germans, Turks, English and French, Christians, Muslims and Jews at one table. The highlight: the guests bring their own food. True to the motto "Bring your own meal", a large buffet is created where you can sample the delicacies of others and perhaps even exchange a recipe or two. A melting pot of cultures is created under the dome of the red tent landscape.

Accompanied by an international stage program by professional and up-and-coming artists from the region, this lunchtime becomes a short journey through the different corners and countries of the world. The cozy atmosphere and the colorful hustle and bustle invite you to have a lively conversation with friends and table neighbors or simply listen to the program and relax.
