Hedwig Dohm was the pioneer of the women's movement in Germany and a wonderfully witty and innovative author. To this day, her texts, in which she calls for complete legal, social and economic equality for women and men, have lost none of their freshness and topicality. Dohm's trademark is her irony. In her texts, she engages in veritable verbal battles with well-known contemporaries from Friedrich Nietzsche to Georg Groddeck.

The historian Nikola Müller, the German scholar Isabel Rohner and the actor Gerd Buurmann celebrate the impulses of a great thinker in this exciting, informative and always very funny scenic cabaret reading.
