The artist from California comes to Germanyfor four shows

In his own music, mehro (pronounced: "marrow") plays with intimate lyrics and soulful vocals in a reduced singer-songwriter style. The concept behind mehro'sartisticvision stems from the function of the human bone marrow: "It's essential for us to survive, but we never get to see it. I hope my music can be the marrow for someone's soul." With this philosophical thought as a cornerstone, mehro creates soulful songs such as the hit "chance with you", which has long had nine-digit streaming views and is one of the artist's most successful tracks alongside "perfume", "the same" and "hideous" from the debut album "SKY ON FIRE" (2021) and "whore" and "pirate song" from the second album "Dark Corners and Alchemy" . Mehro sees himself not only as an artist, but also as a mediator: as a bearer of quiet truths, emotional noise and the contradictions that we all learn to endure. With his third album "Trauma Lullabies" in his luggage, mehro will go on tour in November and perform in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne.

Not much is known about mehro as a person. In an interview, the non-binary artist said that actions and songs should define the persona mehro much more than words and statements. The artist came to music by playing the guitar, on which he also wrote his first songs. In 2020, mehro finally made his debut with the singles "perfume","hideous" and "lightning " - minimalist singer-songwriter ballads that revealed the artist's soulful and captivating sound for the first time. Following the hit single "chance with you", which became the artist's most successful track to date after its release in February 2021, the debut album "SKY ON FIRE" was released in March of that year. Further singles in 2021 and 2022 were followed by the album "Dark Cornes and Alchemy" in 2023, which enriched mehro's singer-songwriter sound with modern pop elements. The third album "Trauma Lullabies" finally took the sound further into the realms of pop with songs such as "ketamine", "dopamine" and the rocking "oneroi" and gave the alternative part of the music a boost. The singles "Lady Parts and Mannequins" (2024) and "You're So Pretty" (2025) as well as the current single "lifesaver" take mehrosSoundfurther into the extremes and reveal influences from alternative rock, post-punk and indie. One principle still counts for mehros music: that it does not have to be understood, but should be felt. In the artist's own words: "It should pick you up where you are and offer space for what you might find there."
