Karl Schwarzenberg (born 1937 in Prague, died 2023 in Vienna) was a staunch democrat. He was Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic from 2007 to 2013. "You're not there to be happy," says the father to his daughter at the end of the documentary, which tells the unusual story of Lila Schwarzenberg and her father Karl. In interviews, they explore previously hidden corners of their shared family history and major events of the 20th century
