Memories of a Time When All Successful Revolutions Were Made By the Message of the Poets (2025-) is an installation by researcher and artist Moses März consisting of nine interconnected maps. They explore the connections between movements and histories that are usually considered separate, bridging historical and contemporary perspectives. These maps, which include anti-colonial movements, radical Black traditions, the European avant-garde, cultural journals and jazz, among others, explore the intersections between intellectuals, spaces and movements across time and space. Through a dynamic interplay of archival material, cartographic experiments and newly commissioned works, the installation presents surrealist mapping as a living, evolving practice.
