MEN WITHOUT HATS

The Canadian new wave and synth-pop band MEN WITHOUT HATS achieved international fame with their upbeat and quirky dance sound, centered around the baritone voice of singer Ivan Doroschuk.

They celebrated success in the 80s and landed top 20 hits with "The Safety Dance" from the 1982 album "Rhythm of Youth" and "Pop Goes the World" from 1987. Both songs became enduring anthems of the 80s and cemented the group's place in the history of pop culture. After disbanding in the 90s, the band returned in the 2000s, touring and releasing albums such as 2012's "Love in the Age of War" and 2021' s "Again, Pt. 1".(Source: band info)

DE LA MORTE

DE LA MORTE started in 2020 as an art project and has evolved from dark classical music to electronic music with avant-garde influences. Back to the roots, similar to "Project Morgan", which was founded in 2002 as a one-woman project. DE LA MORTE is French and means "from the dead". The idea behind it is to take away the fear of death that we humans are surrounded by. D.L.M. wants to create feelings in order to get closer to oneself. D.L.M. sees herself as a kind of ambassador who invites you to dream through atmospheric melodies and the use of synthesizers. The focus is on the vocals. Whether in German, English or French, DE LA MORTE wants to reach people and break down barriers. On February 14, 2024, the day of love, the debut album"Dedikation" saw the light of day.
The journey begins: entry into the German Alternative Charts and the American Alternative Charts on 18.03.2024. Placement in the single and album category for a full eight weeks. Mick Mercer Journalist and author, who is best known for his books, photos and reviews of the goth, punk and indie music scenes, wrote on 20.03.24 in his review of"Dedication", among other things: "a presentation of different styles and they all fit into the overall picture of things".
