The young hip-hop musician Apsilon draws on personal stories and experiences for his music. As the son of Turkish parents and migrant workers, he grew up in Berlin Moabit - in an environment characterized by challenges, discrimination and pain. He processes these experiences in his lyrics, which are a powerful mixture of social analysis and personal anger.
After his first own headline tour, including a sold-out Huxley's in Berlin in 2023, he played a second tour together with rapper Wa22ermann. The highlight: all concerts were free, outside and with artist friends. After appearances in six cities and over 10,000 enthusiastic visitors, the Moab-based artist has been on tour again since November 2024. In addition to stops in Zurich, Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Vienna and Berlin, he will be a guest at the Centralstation on Sunday, August 9, as part of the Merck Sommerperlen.

The chilled-out festival courtyard in the Carree is a great place to start the evening. Seating and a tasty drink from our outdoor bar, plus DJ Steve-O at the mixing desk will get you in the mood for the evening, and not just musically.
