Arc De Soleil is one of the many pseudonyms of composer and producer Daniel Kadawatha. Inspired by the vintage sound of The Spotnicks and The Shadows as well as the funk rhythms of Asha Bhosle and contemporary acts such as Khruangbin, the multi-instrumentalist creates a unique, distinctive sound. With a focus on strong melodies and stringed instruments such as guitar and sitar, as well as infectious grooves and beats, Arc De Soleil's music is both nostalgic and fresh.
A versatile musician, Daniel Kadawatha is at home in many genres, from stripped down acoustic sounds to futuristic synthwave, as well as being involved in numerous collaborations and projects. Arc De Soleil is one of these projects - one that is particularly close to his heart and reflects his creative passion.
On Tuesday, August 5, Daniel Kadawatha aka Arc de Soleil will be a guest at Centralstation as part of Merck Sommerperlen.
The chilled-out festival courtyard in the Carree is a great place to start the evening. Seating and a tasty drink from our outdoor bar, plus the Woog Riots at the mixing desk will get you in the mood for the evening, and not just musically.
