Kit Sebastian

Kit Sebastian enchant their audience with moments of pure pop bliss, timeless nostalgia and seductive complexity. "New Internationale" is the name of their third album and their debut on Brainfeeder Records (Flying Lotus) - a captivating synthesis of the sounds and styles that have long fascinated Kit Sebastian:
French pop and Anatolian psychedelia, vintage tropicália and early rock 'n' roll, infused with influences of soul and prog wafting through the open windows of the duo's collective imagination. Dana & Alden

Brothers Dana and Alden McWayne perform with a group of multi-instrumentalists, creating jazzy melodies with indie sounds inspired by their unconventional childhood in Eugene, Oregon. Their debut album, Quiet Music for Young People, is an amalgamation of their childhood memories - summer days working in an apple orchard and rainy winter nights playing music in cozy jazz clubs. These retrospective moments are reflected through the prism of their diverse influences - from Ahmad Jamal to Big Thief to Bad Bunny.
Alden, the younger of the two, is a drummer and graduate of Berklee College of Music, while Dana, the older, is a saxophonist and organic checker on a farm in Durham, North Carolina.
