In the organizer's words:
Line Up Main Stage:
Lebanon Hanover - cool, dark, uncompromising. We saw them live for the first time last year and were completely overwhelmed by the intensity of this show. We are all the more pleased to present this outstanding band to you on our stage - in the midst of the scaffolding reminiscent of an amphitheater and the visuals above your heads, the perfect atmosphere for the show!
Between Joy Division and Kraftwerk, Larissa Iceglass & William Maybelline create their very own interpretation of the synth sound and post-punk of the early 80s, which they themselves describe as doom wave: minimalist, driving, melancholic, direct. It's no wonder that acts such as Boy Harsher, Molchat Doma and Edwin Rosen are among their fans - who sometimes cite the band as a source of inspiration
Lebanon Hanover live with us - a real highlight.
The KVB
The echoing darkwave of London duo The KVB needs no hackneyed vintage comparisons but is 100% in tune with the times: listening to it immediately transports you to dark warehouse parties. Down-at-heel, but floating above the ambience. The band's influences are absolutely in keeping with their British roots: a mixture of shoegaze, new wave and goth, whose repetitive bass loops shroud everything in a gloomy veil. Nicholas Wood's vocals seem to be pushed back, the lyrics barely comprehensible. What counts is the overwhelming atmosphere of the sound.
Beaks
Beaks is the music project of Anna Francesca, who has been writing for years but has only recently found a way to share her lyrics through song. Coming from a poetry background, she plays with words like an instrument - embedded in a sound that is minimalist and effortless. Her lyrics are introspective snapshots of life - perhaps even dream sequences - and reflect the essence of human existence.
Oscillating between reality and a dizzying daydream, Beaks is like sleepwalking with your eyes open. This becomes particularly clear in her single "Dirty Girls", which ends with the words: "How do dreams work? Do I wake up when I die?"
Night Tapes
A creature of the night, an idea born from the intoxication of distraction between strobes and streetlights: Night Tapes make music for the latest or earliest hours, depending on your perspective. With a series of excellent EPs, the London trio has not only caused a stir in the British electronic metropolis in recent years. Diggers on the European mainland between Barcelona and Berlin have also heard the delightfully sprawling dream pop of these three - usually more than just a few notes. In case of doubt, however, more than a few notes are not necessary to fall head over heels in love with a lushly produced work like "Download Spirit" (2020) or "Perfect Kindness" (2023). A splash of neo-psychedelia here and there, a few droplets of downtempo and carefully sprinkled R'n'B vibes make the Night Tapes' recipe on their latest output "Assisted Memories" (2024) a crystalline trip without a return ticket. It's a sound design that invites you to let go and party in equal measure. But beware: the addiction factor is extremely high.
