Mia Morgan calls "silver" the logical consequence of her previous experience as a musician, both on a lyrical and sonic level. In words, a blunt balance is drawn here: Behind the beautiful appearances lie insecurities, envy, anger and the big, heavy question of one's own worth in a superficial, consumer-oriented society. "Can I become the girl of my dreams above the rubble and shards, when the world lies in ashes?" she asks in"TEIL DER MASCHINE", a single release from "silber" that deals with the transience of the virtual self. The sound of the album shows that after four years of playing concerts together, Morgan and the band have found joy in a harder, rougher sound and have swapped the goth pop established by Mia Morgan for guitars and alternative rock drums inspired by contemporary metalcore and nu metal of the 2000s. With "silber", Mia Morgan has once again not only sought out a different niche, but has created a completely new one in the German-speaking indie universe. However, this development is by no means a departure from the original. Anyone who has seen Mia Morgan live knows that there were already mosh pits before the music explicitly called for them.

At her concerts, Mia Morgan is noticeably not just about performing live music, but always about a communal experience that connects the audience and the band for an evening and beyond. Everyone is welcome here, just as they are. For the duration of the concert, the outside world becomes irrelevant.
