In the organizer's words:
Photographer Michael Bry (*1924), a refugee from the National Socialists in Breslau, lived in Chile, California and Portugal before settling in Regensburg in 2005. His camera accompanied him on all his journeys.
Mostly it is people in their everyday lives or special discoveries in nature that Bry captures on black and white film. Bry not only masters the technical side perfectly, but also has an eye for the uniqueness of the moment, for the "here and now".
