The two-time Grammy-nominated band MIDLAND stands for the revival of the authentic country sound - a musical journey that brings the vastness of the Western Plains and the legendary honky-tonk bars of Texas back to life. Now the celebrated band is finally coming back to Germany: on August 29, MIDLAND will bring their unmistakable retro country sound and their rousing live show to Hamburg. Formed at a friend's wedding, the trio around frontman and guitarist Mark Wystrach, bassist Cameron Duddy and lead guitarist Jess Carson combine classic country sounds with a modern twist that will delight country fans of all generations. Their sound, characterized by polyphonic harmonies, melancholy melodies, clever lyrics and the unmistakable steel guitar, was perfected in the legendary Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas. Since then, the band has set impressive milestones with their musical vision: sold-out shows at the Houston Rodeo, legendary nights at the iconic Billy Bob's in Fort Worth and an exclusive reopening of the legendary Palomino Club in North Hollywood.

Their number 1 debut album "On The Rocks" from 2017 marked the beginning of an impressive success story. With the release of "Let It Roll" two years later, MIDLAND cemented their status as one of the most exciting country bands of the moment.
