Migrationsgesellschaft - Unsere Geschichte, Unsere Zukunft

In the organizer's words:

We live in a migration society with diverse cultural and geographical roots. Hamburg's urban society brings together many different influences, whether from Hamburg, other (historical) regions of Germany or elsewhere in the world.
On this evening, we want to talk together about the (historical) roots of today's urban society, but also about the future. How do we see ourselves today? As a migrant society and/or/also as post-migrant? What can and should this look like in the future? How do we want to live together today and survive as a resilient society in the long term?

We want to discuss this with Dan Thy Nguyen, director, actor, essayist and co-founder of Fluctoplasma, Hamburg's festival for art, discourse and diversity, Prof. Dr. Simon Güntner, migration sociologist, Professor of Social Sciences/Social Policy, HAW-Hamburg, PD Dr. Maria Alexopoulou, migration historian, Center for Research on Anti-Semitism at the Technical University of Berlin/Forschungsinstitut Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt (FGZ), Berlin location and Kazım Abacı, Member of the Hamburg Parliament, SPD and Managing Director of Unternehmer ohne Grenzen e.V. and of course the audience.
