Berlin Lichtenberg: prefabricated buildings, industrial estates, supermarkets, allotment gardens. In the oppressive heat of summer, the girl Tâm and her brother Dennis meet a beautiful young woman. Vietnamese like the two teenagers themselves. It is immediately clear: something is wrong here! The young woman does not know where she is, nor can she open the door of the car she is sitting in...

In his comic thriller, Mikael Ross cleverly combines various storylines to create a complex dramaturgy: it's about a severed finger, it's about three teenagers who are drawn into a crime, it's about human trafficking.

"Der verkehrte Himmel" is an incredibly multi-layered and at the same time incredibly funny, exciting and fast-paced comic with an impressive manga aesthetic.

Following the comic reading, we will talk to the author about his work and open the exhibition in Café Barbakane at Moritzbastei.
