British musician Mike Dawes is regarded as one of the most creative modern fingerstyle guitarists in the world. Heavily influenced by folk, pop and rock music as well as other fingerstyle players, Dawes recently toured Europe with his great role model Tommy Emmanuel. Now he is going on tour solo.

His technically virtuoso cover of the million-selling hit "Somebody That I Used to Know" was praised by singer-songwriter Gotye: "My beautiful piece of music was wonderfully arranged by Mike." Dawe's arrangement of Metallica's "One" achieved four million online clicks within two weeks. During his What Just Happened? world tour, he visited over thirty countries on five continents. Dawes can be heard on several live albums by Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues). Hayward also ranks Dawes among the best in the world: "He's exceptional. I know everyone will love him!" Dawes has been voted the best acoustic guitarist in the world twice in a row in the MusicRadar and Total Guitar year-end poll.
