Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Mishaal Tamer is one of the first musicians from his country to make a noticeable impact on the global music market. With a mission to make music for a "new generation of Saudi kids" (Variety), 24-year-old Mishaal Tamer is setting new standards and has long since become a role model for this new generation. After a cover placement on Esquire ME and features in magazines such as GQ, Vogue and Arab News, his face has long been known alongside his music. His track "Can't Love Myself" recently cracked the 100 million stream mark on Spotify. Since October 2023, you can also hear Mishaal Tamer as a feature on the OneRepublic track "Mirage", which is part of the soundtrack for Assasin's Creed Mirage . A collaboration that complements each other perfectly: he already performed worldwide as tour support for OneRepublic in the summer of 2023. But he is also celebrated loudly in his home country and was headlining the Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh alongside acts such as Bruno Mars and David Guetta. Mishaal Tamer will be coming to Germany for three concerts in 2024.

The guitarist and singer's musical career began unexpectedly. When he was nine years old, he broke his arm. To repair his damaged nerves, he learned to play the guitar. He started writing and playing songs at the age of 11. In 2017, Mishaal Tamer opened his Instagram account and uploaded the first snippets of his track "Can't Love Myself" to the platform. The result: his lofi snippets were sampled worldwide and spread quickly. In 2018, Tamer bought an interface and recorded his first tracks "Kid Goku " and "Addicted" with his laptop, the interface and an Xbox microphone. "Kid Goku" builds on Tamer' s lofi aesthetic and relies on subtle beats in the middle of a catchy guitar loop, which is complemented by the singer's soft voice. "Addicted", on the other hand, focuses more on Mishaal Tamer's voice. In 2019, the musician filmed his first music video for "Arabian Knights", which was shot in his hometown of Jeddah. With the release of his first demo EP "Life's A Ride", Tamer launched a global career as a professional musician. A year later, he played his first concerts in Saudi Arabia with great success, as he is already being celebrated as the voice of a new generation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has found its first international pop star in Mishaal Tamer.

After a tour supporting OneRepublic and international festival appearances, the musician released "The Deep ", the first part of his debut album "Home Is Changing", in December 2023. To coincide with Valentine's Day 2024, Mishaal Tamer is releasing " The Heart", the second half of the album, which he will perform live for the first time on his upcoming tour.
