The "Mission:Reflection" exhibition invites visitors to critically reflect on the concept of mission and discover the 200-year history of the Berlin Missionary Society. What motivated Protestant Christians in the 19th century to take their faith out into the world? What impact did their mission have? What perspectives do today's partner churches and those affected offer?
The exhibition shows a multi-perspective reflection and deals with historical and colonial entanglements, presented by scientists, historians and the perspectives of contemporary witnesses, descendants and partner churches. It can be seen at the Berliner Missionswerk in Berlin-Friedrichshain and is also accessible online.
Guided tours: Every first Thursday of the month at 4 pm. The tour is free of charge. Please register in advance.
