Friedrich Greiling aka FreeDaRich aka Mittekill has been shaking up the club scene with techno blues, electro chansons and punk house since the beginning of the millennium. His music is characterized by brute elegance, uncompromising diversity and hypnotic dynamics. It is the flying carpet for his rebellious prose, with which he takes aim at the conditions of our time, from desperate to tongue-in-cheek. Mittekill makes the discomfort somewhere between pathos, pose and farce and always with a rich sound equal to the dance floor, only to pick us up somewhere completely different in the next moment with a piano ballad.
The middle-kill moment comes when a fine sense of humor is milled into the paranoia, outshining the bluntness by means of lustful rhyme technique, word creation and twisting.
Devotion, imagination and a sense of style crackle.
Hand-picked electronics and canned sounds are processed in such a way that every particle, every beat has found its place in the frequency spectrum of the mid-kill world view. Subtly differentiated sound samples are countered by clattering electropunk, which in turn is driven out by chanson on the piano.
In the end, everything comes together to form a picture, a dazzling whole.
