Mit dem Baby im Museum

In the organizer's words:

Since July 2024, the AWO, Bottrop/Gelsenkirchen sub-district, and the Museum Center Quadrat have been cooperating for "Elternstart NRW", a free family education program for mothers and fathers with a child in the first year of life.

The cultural education program at the Museum Center invites you to attend workshops on various topics with a baby. Each session offers a mixture of theory and practice, art and exhibition objects are discussed and creative work is produced.

You can register either via the AWO family education department (Martina Leßmann and Sandra Junker, https://www.awo-gelsenkirchen.de/bilden-arbeiten/familienbildung) or by telephone/on site at the Museum Center Quadrat.

From July 16, 2025, every third Wednesday of the month from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., we will dedicate ourselves to the collections and exhibitions of the Museumszentrum Quadrat in conversation and through our own creative activities. The dates are designed for mothers and fathers with children in their first year of life - and in addition to the impressions of art and history, the community with others will also be about sharing challenges in everyday life.

The meeting point is the main entrance of the Museum Center Quadrat, Anni-Albers-Platz 1, 46236 Bottrop
