Art historian Judith Graefe takes parents and babies on a tour of our Dutch cabinet. Together, we take a look at Dutch paintings from the 17th century. These masterpieces of painting still fascinate today with their deceptively realistic depiction of luxurious and everyday objects. They symbolize the economic power of the Netherlands and at the same time refer to colonial exploitation and hard work. During the tour, visitors can retire to a reserved room at any time, allowing young families to enjoy a relaxed visit to the exhibition and engage in conversation with one another.
