With works ranging from classical modernism to contemporary art, the Kränholm Sculpture Garden presents itself as a clearing in the historic riverside park on the Lesum in Bremen-St. Magnus. A footpath connects the spacious green area with Knoops Park. If you let your gaze wander across the central lawn to the tree-lined edge of the sculpture garden, your tranquillity is suddenly disturbed by a bizarre-looking sculpture by Heinrich Kirchner (1902-1984). Standing almost 4 meters tall and raising its hand in greeting, the "Guardian in the Garden of Eden" (1978) has taken up position here
and continues to cast a spell over Kränholm's guests. Works by Gustav Seitz, Emil Cimiotti, Michael Croissant, Markus Daum, Gerson Fehrenbach, Robert Schad, Herbert Peters and Friedemann Grieshaber can also be discovered.
