Once a year, all of Düsseldorf's museums open their doors late into the night. A colorful program awaits you at the Schumann House, which will delight music and literature fans alike.

Actor Devid Striesow will take visitors on a journey into the world of classical music with a reading from his book "Klassik drastisch". With humor and passion, he tells the stories behind the works, the peculiarities of the composers and their quirky adventures - and shows why classical music is a treasure trove of happiness.

Another highlight is the performance by dancer and choreographer Nikolai Kemeny. Together with pianist Kristjan Randalu, he interweaves the traditions of classical music with the world of tap dance to create a unique intuitive and improvisational performance.

You can also immerse yourself in the musical world of the 19th century: actor Markus J. Bachmann reads from letters and texts by Clara and Robert Schumann, while regular guided tours of the historic Schumann House offer insights into the lives of the famous musical couple.
