In the organizer's words:

The Büro für Bürger*innenbeteiligung Mitte invites you to the event "Mit(te)einander draußen - Freiflächen für alle gestalten" on 11.12.24 from 17:30-20:30.

In the former BVV-Saal Leopoldplatz, Müllerstraße 147, various actors from the Mitte district will discuss how public outdoor spaces can be used and designed by civil society.

You will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with initiatives about their projects, to deepen your knowledge of the topic of actions in and design of public spaces in workshops and lectures and to talk to Christopher Schriner, District Councillor for Public Order, Environment, Nature, Streets and Green Spaces.

Program:

17:30: Opening and welcome address by Christopher Schriner, District Councillor for Public Order, Environment, Nature and Green Spaces

17:50: Keynote speech on the question: "Why and how does urban society benefit from the design of open spaces by civil society?" (Benedikt Stoll, Urbane Praxis e.V.)

18:10: Marketplace of initiatives: Innovatively using open spaces outdoors - best practice to get to know

19:30: Workshop phase with discussion rounds on questions such as "How do I organize a street festival?" or "How do I find a place for my idea?"

20:30: Closing with a buffet
