Mitmachen bei den Entenwerder Elbpiraten

In the organizer's words:

The Entenwerder Elbpiraten is a non-profit association in Hamburg-Rothenburgsort on the Entenwerder 1 pontoon that offers free sailing courses and creative research projects to children and young people. Participants experience nature up close and are encouraged to play an active role in shaping their environment. The association also campaigns for a sustainable environment and against discrimination. A variety of workshops and collaborative projects create a lively place of exchange and learning.

Participation offers of the Entenwerder Elbpiraten for the Elbe summer 2025:

Taster sailing with Ulf

We will take your first steps towards sailing on the Elbe in our small Optimist dinghies. You will get your first practical sailing instructions at various stations and can see whether this sport and our offer are something for you in the long term. We can already promise that sailing on the Elbe will be a real challenge for you.

Our 3-hour workshop will give you a first insight. The target group is children/young people aged 7 to 15. For safety reasons, the youth swimming badge in bronze is a prerequisite for participation. Please register in advance, even at short notice, at the email segeln@entenwerderelbpiraten.de so that we can accompany you safely.

Creative plant printing on fabric with Astrid

We will collect and identify plants from the Entenwerder Elbufer embankment. We will then print selected plant parts onto a prepared fabric bag using printing ink - which will be ready for use after a short drying time.
