Clothing has always played a major role in social interaction. It reflects status and income, it signals group affiliation and can stigmatize. It is a cause for admiration and can lead to abuse.

On this afternoon, we will look at clothing and clothing regulations from Roman times to the Middle Ages. What rules applied back then and why? You can also try on replica items of clothing from the Middle Ages and Roman times for yourself in the MiQua:forum.

The hands-on program starts at 1:00 pm and is repeated at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. You can come along at any time and take part in the hands-on program. Just drop by!
