Mittwochskino: Legally Blonde

Fashion and styling - this is what young Ellen Woods identifies with and she strives to develop professionally in this field. Her boyfriend Warner Huntington sees this as an obstacle to his own career as a lawyer and breaks off their relationship without a second thought.
Ellen, who wanted a proposal instead of a break-up, is not prepared to accept this so easily. Her plan: to win Warner back by becoming a lawyer herself. Without further ado, Ellen makes a career 180° turn and, like her ex-boyfriend, applies to Harvard, where she impresses with good test results and is offered a place. However, she soon realizes that her
lack of preparation for legal subjects catches up with her and complicates her plans.
The 2001 film comedy starring Reese Witherspoon shows in an entertaining way that outward appearances can quickly be deceptive and that individual personalities with all their facets are far more than the fulfillment of a cliché.

In a cozy atmosphere, there will be a short input followed by a film screening that invites reflection and discussion. Drinks and snacks will be available (donation recommended).
