MKO-KAMMERMUSIKFEST

In the organizer's words:

A long summer evening in the stylish rooms of the Villa Stuck. The musicians of the MKO in various chamber music formations, from duo to multi-piece ensemble. They will be supported by the Associated Conductors Enrico Onofri and Bas Wiegers, who will be performing instrumentally together with the orchestra members for the first time, as well as the baritone Holger Falk and Alexander Lonquich, who has been a close musical friend of the orchestra for many years.

Born out of the orchestra members' desire to present their chamber music activities on a larger scale once again, the first two editions of this format in 2017 and 2019 were already a sensational success. An enthusiastic audience listened to the chamber music performed in the various rooms of Villa Stuck from 6 p.m. until late into the night and also had the opportunity to exchange ideas and talk over food and drink in the garden of the Prince of Painters' house.

Now, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the MKO, there will be a new edition of the format.

Due to the special spatial situation in the museum, access to individual musical contributions is limited.
