Möbelaufarbeitung - Grundlagen Workshop

In the organizer's words:

Every (old) piece of furniture has potential!After this workshop, you'll know how to tease it out!

The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners as well as for those with more experience!

During the workshop, I will provide you with valuable basic knowledge on these topics:
- Types of wood and veneers
- Sanding material and grits
- Tools and machines
- Surface preparation
- Wood stains and staining techniques
- Surface finishing
- Simple retouching.

You try out different products, tools and techniques on a practice board and then design your workpiece, a wooden box, according to your own ideas. You can then take the workpiece and practice board home with you.

In this DIY workshop, you will be working with your hands, so please bring clothes that can get dirty.

The course fees include the workpiece, material costs, drinks and snacks. Optionally, we can order lunch in the surrounding restaurants - you pay for this yourself.

In order to provide you with personal and individual support, places are limited to a maximum of 8 participants per workshop.
