Möbelbau mit Handmaschinen (Wochenendkurs)

In this course, we want to introduce you to the possible applications and the correct way to work with hand-held machines. The focus will be on the plunge saw with guide rail, router, flat dowel router, duo doweler, edge router, hole jig, cup drill and various sanding machines. Using a small cupboard made from panel material, you will learn how to make simple pieces of furniture yourself using these machines.

Options for modifying / adapting the example shown are:

• Dimensions (size approx. H 1.0 x W 0.6 x D 0.5m)
• Material: birch multiplex 18mm thick
• Number of shelves 1-2

Costs: 270 Euro + material according to consumption
(from ~130,- Euro for the default, larger = higher costs)
Duration: 15-17h
- Friday 18-21h
- Saturday 10-18h
- Sunday 10 am - 4 pm

Participants: 4 to max. 6
Previous knowledge: Handling wood - hand tools (saw, chisel, measuring and marking tools, etc.) are desirable
