And there is magic in every beginning: once a month, let art educator Monika Will M.A. inspire and enlighten you about art. Pause, marvel, learn and understand - these are her approaches that make it easy for anyone who wants to get into art. Interested and advanced students who want to refresh their individual school of seeing are also in good hands here. Monika Will teaches how to see and recognize styles, themes and art-historical phenomena from around 800 years of art in the Staatsgalerie. Much is taught in a relaxed and simple way: Color meanings, the golden ratio, playing with illusions or looking out of the picture. In September, the focus is on the multifaceted function of art. What is art? What does art mean to us? Lively discussions and questions round off the format.
