With humor, charm and a pinch of scurrility, the duo MON MARI ET MOI will whisk you away to a concert full of surprises. In their songs, Shakti and Mathias Paqué from the Palatinate Forest tell of absurd everyday observations - sometimes about dusty New Year's resolutions, sometimes about neighbors or bizarre mattresses. Accompanied by guitar and unusual instruments such as autoharp and wah-wah tube, they create colorful soundscapes that, just like their lyrics, are brushed against the grain.

Awarded the "Belziger Bachstelze" in 2024, their eccentric style has won over audiences and press alike. A concert with MON MARI ET MOI is a charming and witty time-out - including a wink and guaranteed catchy tunes!

By the way: despite the French-sounding band name, the songs are in German, because the two of them can't actually speak French. So why MON MARI ET MOI? Shakti's grandma said it just sounds better - and who can argue with that?
