The classes are taught in an open format. The focus is on mutual support and confirmation, joint learning and cypher. This allows participants with different levels of experience to train together and develop individually. It is important to Akeem to convey the culture behind the dance styles. Through a deeper understanding of the movements, each participant can discover creative freedom and develop their own authentic style.

All courses take place in the Kulturhaus Brockfabrik, dance studio 1st floor. One ticket allows participation for all Mondays of the selected month.

Akeem Abidoye is nationally known as a dancer and dance mediator and is well connected in the urban community. His authentic and unmistakable style is characterized by hip-hop, house, krumping and contemporary. In the 24/25 season, he is a dancer in the Compound Company under the artistic direction of Yvonne Eibig. Akeem is known to many from the productions of our young ensemble JUTAC(#noFILTER, Wonderland) and as a dancer for Schrit_tmacher GENERATION2 Co-Laboration(SPARK/Ch. Hermann Bär, Do you hear me?!/Ch. Sellam El Achari). In an installation "Double Helix" by Nanine Linning he was seen as a dancer in the Schrit_tmacher main program. He is also a welcome battle guest, especially in the Experimental category, where he stands out for his originality and creativity.
