Melodic Heavy Metal

Between hard rock and heavy metal - with a pinch of prog and groove metal - Monolith are all about grooving along and having a good time! With their joy in the variation of song structures, rhythm and tempo, they take the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions. Moments of aggression against social tendencies, joy and melancholy at the (wrong) ways of life are repeatedly brought back to an exuberant mood through headbanging.

Monolith was founded in 2022 by Valentin Klug and Tobias Hemme. They were soon joined by Joshua Wolter on bass and Andy Tesch on rhythm guitar. In April 2023, they released their first single "Monolith" with guest vocalist Nico Joerendt (Messiah's Rising). After a long search for a permanent singer, they found the final building block to complete their line-up in the fall of 2023 with Max McMillan. Their first gig followed in 2024 at the SPH Band Contest, where they qualified for the city final and then the regional final. Their debut album "The Wanderer" was released as an EP on 22.11.2024 and celebrated on the same day at the Blue Shell in Cologne. The first single "Midnight Rain" was released as a video and is already enjoying numerous reviews that make you want more!

Grufflo is a young band from Bonn with a mixture of uncompromising thrash metal vocals, groovy basslines from a fretless, a storm of two guitars from rhythm and lead and brutal drums that make every human heart beat faster. BLACK SAPPHIRE

Black Sapphire is a metal band from Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, which was founded in 2022. All 4 musicians have gained years of experience in other bands before the current constellation was formed, but have now finally found their musical home and family with Black Sapphire.

Their musical finesse convinces with a mixture of metallic heaviness, sonic brilliance of the guitars, melodious softness in the melodies, incredibly catchy choruses and the multi-layered depth of the song compositions. Gabriel Medina's vocals consciously play with his impressive spectrum and rich diversity, from catchy-soft to aggressive-rough passages, and repeatedly set highlights with impressive shouts and screams.

Genre-typical sounds different... With their debut single BURN TOGEHTER NOW, Black Sapphire have made an impressively epochal first impression right at the start of their career, arousing emotions and blowing a breath of fresh air through the metal scene. The songs, which are mainly penned by Julian Daniels (lead guitar), unfold their full potential on stage - the band around the charismatic and thoroughbred singer Gabriel Medina creates an atmosphere that makes everything possible, from mosh pits to unison vocals by the entire band. Anyone who sees Black Sapphire live will get an overdose of endorphins as a direct injection!
