In the organizer's words:

An inclusive movement theater for everyone aged 8 and up

Do you sometimes feel like you're different from everyone else? Do you sometimes think: I don't belong here?

Then the Island of Wild Things* is the right place for you! Being different is the ticket to entry here. We dare to do the impossible and the forbidden! We dance, sing, make noise and make stick bread and sometimes we get into fights or accidentally set something on fire. That can happen when everyone is having fun and enjoying themselves. But don't worry: there are no penalties at Wild Things*. You can do whatever you want here. And if we trust you, we'll also tell you our biggest secrets. For example, how we got to this island in the first place.

The play development Monster / Wild Things* tells of the search for one's own place in the world. It celebrates differences, questions norms and rules and invites us to be scary, laugh and think. It is about negotiating shared spaces and individual safe spaces. Artes_Rohde & Kompliz*innen also share personal experiences from a migrant and mixed-abled perspective. Artistic audio description will be used on stage. This opens up a new level of perception for everyone and enables full accessibility for all sighted, blind and visually impaired people.
