Montag in der Stalburg. Heute: Karaoke

In the organizer's words:

Every Monday at 8 pm, an evening awaits you at the Stalburg Theater that is more than just entertainment. It is a meeting place for feelings, for shared experiences, for moments that make you forget everyday life. Every Monday is different - but what remains is the feeling that you are in exactly the right place. Be there when Monday becomes the heart of your week!

At least that's what our colleague from KI wrote when we asked her to write something about the new series "Monday in the Stalburg". We are impressed. How silly, on the other hand, our attempts to formulate something: We celebrate Monday because it has the courage to open the working week while everyone else shies away from the responsibility. Most of all Friday, the cowardly pig. It prances stupidly towards the weekend and reaps what the others have sown. Monday is completely different. Without it, there would be no Tuesday, no Wednesday, no Thursday, no Friday, no Saturday and no Sunday. Ergo: Monday is the only day with cojones!

In honor of Monday, we are celebrating a karaoke evening today. Our colleague KI says: "Do you like singing? Would you like to try out what it feels like to be on stage? Then come and join us! From Heintje to Taylor Swift, from Frank Sinatra to Beyoncé, from Abba to Zappa: be part of the karaoke evening at the Stalburg Theater and spontaneously choose your favourite song. You can then sing it alone or in threes (bring friends!) on stage with us. It's not about being able to sing, but about the fun of standing at the microphone yourself. And that we have one thing in common that evening: a love of music!".
